GSE began operating in China in 1996 to support international clients that were expanding into the country. With more than 1.2 million m² of industrial and logistics buildings delivered, GSE is now the major player in this market.

In China, GSE has offices in Shanghai and Tianjin.

Our history and approach

In China, GSE is the specialist of design-build operations for industrial and logistics buildings. Our global expertise in this field enables us to offer our international clients the most appropriate solutions.

In addition, GSE is committed to developing buildings to European standards in China and plays an active role in the continuous improvement of local standards, to ensure the long-term viability of their investment.

Our organisation

Holding a construction license in China, we have a team of 150 people in-house to guarantee our clients the best level of involvement and quality control, from design to turnkey delivery of the project.

Our Design department includes architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, utility engineers, draughtsmen, sustainability experts, BIM and purchasing engineers.

Our construction department includes project managers, business engineers, site leaders, utility engineers, quality, health & safety engineers, quantity surveyors, and commissioning and maintenance engineers.
